I'm Chloe, and my drumming journey started back in 2008 when I was just six years old. Since then, I've been immersed in the world of drumming and have been playing professionally with the local cover band Bad Habitz since 2009.

With 15 years of experience under my belt, I've received training in proper drumming techniques, form, and percussive skills. My dedication to the craft earned me a nomination for WAMI's Drummer of The Year in 2023, and I'm proud to say that Bad Habitz won WAMI's Rising Star in 2014.

Recently, I joined the hard rock band Krestfall in 2020, and I had the honor of recording all the drum tracks on our full-length album, A Broken Place, which was released in 2022. Nowadays, you can catch me actively playing shows for both Krestfall and Bad Habitz, averaging 50+ shows per year!

When it comes to teaching, my top priority is safety and proper technique. For beginning students, I heavily emphasize reading music and practicing rudiments. But don't worry, I'm more than willing to take on intermediate students too! Whether you're just starting out and eager to learn the art of drums or an experienced player looking to level up your skills, I'm here to guide and support you every step of the way.

I'm Matt Gieseke, a respected and sought-after percussionist across the state. In 2013, the Wisconsin Area Music Industry nominated me for Drummer of the Year—an incredible honor!

Music is my passion, woven into every aspect of my life. From tours to recording sessions and sharing knowledge through teaching, I'm fully immersed in the world of music. Since 2000, I've rocked an average of 150+ shows annually, including several charity events.

Inspiring and nurturing aspiring musicians brings me great joy. That's why I offer private lessons, tailoring my approach to make learning enjoyable and fulfilling. From playing by ear to reading music and mastering rudiments, I've got it all covered.

No matter your age, I'm excited to welcome students as young as 6 years old. I'm also the director of The Big Bang Drum Camp, an exciting summer camp sponsored by Heid Music.

So, if you're ready to embark on a rhythmic adventure and explore percussion with me, let's make incredible music together. Whether you're just starting out or looking to elevate your skills, I'm here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Since 1977, I've been immersed in the world of drumming, and for the past 26 years, I've been sharing my passion and expertise as a private instructor. Throughout my musical journey, I've had the pleasure of playing with numerous bands, each offering a unique experience that has enriched my understanding of rhythm and sound.

One notable highlight was being offered the drum position with the esteemed Molly Hatchet in 1997. While the opportunity was tempting, I ultimately followed my heart and chose to focus on my true calling—teaching.

Over the years, my drumming adventures have taken me from symphony orchestras to heavy metal bands, allowing me to explore diverse musical genres. Along the way, I've garnered recognition for my commitment to teaching, receiving the prestigious Apple Award in 2002 and the Outstanding Teacher Award in 2004.

Driven by my passion for education and innovation, I crafted the groundbreaking Dungeon of Drumming book series—a resource that fosters dynamic and enjoyable learning experiences for aspiring drummers.

Together, we'll embark on a musical journey that makes learning drums fun, easy, and deeply fulfilling. So, don't miss the chance to be part of our vibrant community.

I hold a Bachelor of Music Degree in Percussion Performance from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music. My musical journey was shaped by the guidance of renowned musicians like Tele Lesbines (MSO) and Director of Percussion, Dane Richeson. Graduating in 1994, I've been on a continuous quest to deepen my musical knowledge while collaborating with some of Wisconsin's finest musicians.

You might recognize me as one of the founding members of Copper Box, a beloved Midwestern band with whom I've been performing nationwide for over 13 years. Music is not just my profession; it's my life's passion. Whether on stage or off, I thrive on sharing the magic of music with others.

Now, as a part of the teaching staff at Heid Music, I'm thrilled to contribute to nurturing the next generation of musicians. My expertise spans a wide range of drumset and percussion styles, including those required for school band students. I firmly believe in tailoring my instruction to each student's unique needs and aspirations.

For those interested, I offer the opportunity to perform in recitals held twice a year, providing a wonderful platform to showcase their progress and talents.
