Josh is a music graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and has over ten years of experience in the Fox Valley teaching private and group lessons, as well as directing bands and ensembles. He focuses his lessons on building a solid foundation of the basics and proper technique to help students become successful with music and enjoy their instrument. His unique style of teaching incorporates music theory and improvisation in a way that's fresh, accessible, and fun for students of all skill levels. Josh aims to turn students into lifelong musicians and lovers of music. With the right knowledge, students can develop their skills into a hobby or career in which they can be confident and competent, rather than leaving with just a vague memory of how to play one song!

Raised in Appleton, WI, Luke is a professional opera singer and voice teacher. He completed his Bachelor’s degree of Music at Belmont University, and his Masters degree of Music at Florida State University. At FSU, Luke had top academic honors, and engaged in supplementary private study of Vocal Pedagogy and Kinesiology beyond his graduate degree requirements. Luke is a tenor, and has frequently won awards from organizations such as NATS and the Metropolitan Opera Grand Council. Before returning to the Fox Valley, he enjoyed a professional artist’s residency with the Florentine Opera Company and currently enjoys honing his edge with periodic auditions and professional opportunities around the nation. As a voice and piano teacher, Luke’s focus is always on a holistic music education that not only incorporates technical excellence, but also artistic fulfillment. He teaches and enjoys many genres of voice, including classical, metal, musical theater, and pop music.

Dorothy is a highly accomplished music educator with over four decades of experience, specializing in teaching guitar, ukulele, and piano to students of all ages and skill levels. Holding a Piano Pedagogy Certificate, she has dedicated 43 years to piano instruction, 14 years to guitar and ukulele, and has served as a piano accompanist for an impressive 55 years. A professional singer-songwriter with music available on platforms like iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, and cdbaby, Dorothy brings a wealth of expertise in classical piano, ear training, and music theory, as well as folk and pop styles on guitar and ukulele. Known for her engaging teaching style, she incorporates theory and scales in a way that keeps lessons dynamic and enjoyable. Her approach is particularly suited to beginners or intermediate students, but she also works with advanced learners pursuing specific goals. Open and communicative, Dorothy welcomes discussion and collaboration to support each student’s unique musical journey.
