Macallan Miller has been playing flute since 5th grade and has added piccolo, bass flute, contrabass flute, and alto saxophone to his repertoire of instruments.  He studied extensively under the tutelage of Jeremiah Wilson and is currently continuing his flute education with Dr. Linda Pereksta and musical performance as first chair in Wind Ensemble with Dr. Devin Otto at UW Oshkosh.  Macallan is pursuing a major in Music Education at UW Oshkosh and plans to continue live performances in addition to teaching.

In addition to the UW Oshkosh Wind Ensemble, Macallan performs extensively in diverse roles, including piccolo with UW Oshkosh Titan Thunder Marching Band, alto saxophone with the UW Oshkosh Bolt Band, contrabass flute with the Madison flute choir, and the occasional guest appearance on flute with local band Remington's Ride.  Macallan has also performed on flute and piccolo in the pit orchestra for sold out performances of The Wizard of Oz and Addams Family musicals at Fond du Lac High School.
