The Heid family and Heid Music believe that music has the power to enrich lives and strengthen communities. As a third-generation, family-owned music company, we are proud to support schools, nonprofit organizations, community events, churches, and community partners through donations, sponsorships, and collaborative opportunities.
Our goal is not simply to provide financial support, but to build lasting partnerships that expand access to music, strengthen education, and enrich the communities we proudly serve.

We thoughtfully review each request with consideration for its community impact, alignment with Heid Music's mission and values, and opportunities to help more people experience, learn, and make music.
While we would love to support every request, priority is generally given to organizations and initiatives that advance music education, create opportunities for people of all ages to experience, learn, and make music, and align with Heid Music's mission and values.
REQUEST GUIDELINES
• Advance notification is requested with submission 60 days prior to an event/deadline.
• Priority consideration is given to organizations and programs that advance music education and access to music-making opportunities for people of all ages.
• Organizations located within the communities served by Heid Music receive preference.
• We value opportunities for ongoing collaboration and meaningful community engagement beyond a single event or request.
• Eligible nonprofit organizations and schools may also be considered for support through the Heid Family Foundation.
• Submission of a request does not guarantee a donation, sponsorship, grant, or participation. Due to the volume of requests we receive, we are unable to fulfill every request.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
1. Complete and submit the request form.
2. Our Community Giving Team will review your request and determine the most appropriate opportunity for support through Heid Music and/or the Heid Family Foundation.
3. We will contact you if additional information is needed and notify you once a decision has been made.
THE HEID FAMILY FOUNDATION
Established by our founder, Peter "Duke" Heid, the Heid Family Foundation continues our family's commitment to strengthening communities through music, education, and charitable giving. The Foundation is administered through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and provides grants to eligible charitable organizations that make a meaningful impact within the communities we serve.
The Heid Family Foundation awards grants only to qualified charitable organizations, including 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, schools, and other eligible tax-exempt organizations. The Foundation does not provide grants or donations directly to individuals.
Based on your request and organizational eligibility, the Community Giving Team may consider your application for support through either Heid Music or the Heid Family Foundation. No separate application is required.

What is the Heid Family Foundation?
There is no separate application. Our Community Giving Team will determine whether your request may be considered through Heid Music, the Heid Family Foundation or both.
How do I apply?
Once submitted, we’ll take it from there.
What information should I include?
Please also provide complete contact information, including the appropriate name, email, phone number and mailing address for questions, follow-up or billing, when applicable.
For sponsorships or advertising opportunities, include applicable deadlines, recognition and promotional details, ad specifications and sizes, billing or payment information, and anything else needed for participation.
Supporting materials, sponsorship packages, event information, ad specifications or other relevant documents may be attached directly to the Community Giving request form. Please include all information and attachments with your online request rather than sending materials separately.
Providing complete information helps our Community Giving Team understand the opportunity, respond efficiently and determine how Heid Music may be able to help.

- Potential community impact and who will benefit
- Connection to the communities Heid Music serves
- Opportunities for collaboration, engagement and ongoing relationships
- The type and level of support requested
- Timing and our ability to participate
- Available Community Giving resources
No single factor determines a decision. With the number and variety of requests we receive, our goal is to direct available resources where Heid Music can make a meaningful impact and contribute as a community partner.
What types of requests are generally not supported?
- Benefit a single individual or family rather than an organization, school or community initiative
- Are submitted fewer than 60 days before the event, initiative or applicable deadline
- Do not align with Heid Music’s mission, values or Community Giving priorities
- Duplicate or closely follow support recently provided to the same organization
Our Community Giving resources are limited and distributed among many organizations and initiatives throughout the year. Meeting eligibility guidelines does not guarantee support. Requests are considered based on alignment, community impact, timing, the type and amount of support requested, and available resources.
Can my organization submit more than one request?
Because Community Giving resources are shared among many organizations and initiatives, previous support does not guarantee future support, and we may not be able to accommodate multiple requests from the same organization.
Please submit requests through our online Community Giving form so our team has the information needed for review and planning.
What does a community partnership with Heid Music look like?
When appropriate, recognition or collaboration may include:
- Social media mentions and tags
- Collaborative or co-branded content
- Event signage and logo placement
- Program acknowledgements or stage recognition
- Opportunities for Heid Music to participate or engage at an event
- Other mutually agreed-upon sponsorship benefits
