Boss Guitar Synth GK5 Guitar Pickup

The BOSS GK-5 is a user-installable divided pickup built for the advanced Serial GK digital interface, the next generation of BOSS’s GK system. Unlike a standard pickup, which combines all strings into one output, the GK-5 senses each string individually and sends each signal to its own output. That isolated string information lets compatible BOSS synthesizers and V-Guitar products perform advanced synthesis and instrument modeling that standard pickups can’t support.

Serial GK delivers stable digital signal transmission and improved performance over the previous analog 13-pin interface. Its connection is secure, space-saving, and lower in profile. The flat, slimline pickup fits most standard electric guitars with steel strings, and an included attachment plate adapts it to the bridge on Les Paul-style guitars. The light, streamlined connector housing mounts securely to your strap button with the included bracket.
