Developed in close collaboration with acclaimed guitarist Chris Buck, the Yamaha RS02CB Signature Revstar captures the sound, feel, and personality of the custom instrument that has become central to his recordings and performances around the world. Combining Yamaha’s modern engineering with Chris’ tonal preferences, this signature model delivers expressive dynamics, resonant response, and refined aesthetics in a highly playable platform.

At the heart of the RS02CB is a set of specially voiced P90-style pickups designed to preserve touch sensitivity and highlight the natural acoustic character of the guitar. Tuned for slightly lower output, they offer exceptional clarity at lower volumes while opening up into articulate, harmonically rich overdrive when pushed.

The chambered maple and mahogany body is developed using Yamaha’s Acoustic Design process to enhance resonance while reducing weight for long playing sessions. A carbon-reinforced 3-piece mahogany neck increases strength and stability, while the TonePros AVT2 wraparound bridge maximizes sustain and direct string energy transfer.

Finished in an elegant Honey Gold with amber hat knobs, custom inlays, and Chris Buck’s signature on the back of the headstock, the RS02CB blends boutique-inspired performance with stage-ready reliability.
