The patent-pending Soulo design improves the typical issues associated with metal Harmon mutes. Other mutes produce heavy back-pressure combined with poor pitch stability, especially in the lower register.
Soulo Mute’s aerodynamic shape allows the air to naturally flow inside the mute, unimpeded by a crimp or other barrier. This delivers improved intonation and a more free-blowing experience for the player.
The Soulo Harmon-Style Mute is very lightweight, achieved by using copper only in the bottom half of the mute, where it tonally contributes the most. The unique neoprene foam composite gasket holds the mute inside the bell securely.
A custom sized Polycarbonate stem accompanies the trumpet mute, to allow for the the “wah-wah” effect. This stem will only work with Soulo Mutes!
