Description
The Shires Q41S is a B♭ compensating euphonium that offers a balanced feel, easy playability, and the clarity players look for. Its compact 11.5" two-piece, hand-hammered upright bell, made of standard-weight yellow brass with an unsoldered bead, delivers a clear, powerful sound that projects well throughout the instrument’s range.
A .591" bore with a .669" 4th valve bore, stainless steel pistons, a nickel leadpipe, and a large shank mouthpiece receiver support smooth, consistent playing. It’s finished in silver plate and comes ready to play with a Q Series euphonium case, mouthpiece, and care kit. The Q41S fits comfortably in ensemble and solo settings alike.
