The Heid Music Band Director Emergency Repair Kit puts the small fixes that keep rehearsals and concerts moving right at your fingertips. It’s built for band directors who can’t afford to stop the music. Eight carefully chosen tools handle the most common woodwind and brass mishaps, from loose screws and displaced springs to stuck slides and stubborn valve caps.

For woodwinds, use the screwdriver to tighten pivot screws, the spring hook to get keys working again, and the pad slick and leak light to find and fix sealing problems. Teflon tape secures loose tenons and handles other quick emergency repairs. For brass, zip ties temporarily secure a broken brace through the performance, and a rubber square adds grip on stuck valve caps. A wooden dowel, used with proper technique, helps free stuck slides and pistons.
