Vandoren M30 13 Series Profile 88 Clarinet Mouthpiece

The Vandoren M30 Bb Clarinet mouthpiece is designed to provide the player with great flexibility as well as a good balance between timbre and fullness of sound. Because of its long facing and medium tip opening, reed strenghts 3.0-4.0 are recommended with this mouthpiece.

Vandoren has developed the "13 Series" specifically for the American clarinetist using A440 pitch.

The "Profile 88" was created by Vandoren to offer an alternative to the Traditional profile, or beak. The Profile 88 has a more gradual slope, which gives the mouthpiece a thinner beak. Many clarinetists like the Profile 88 because the clarinet can be held comfortably at a higher angle.
