The MEINL Tiger Gong is a handcrafted masterpiece made in the centuries-old tradition of Chinese gong making. Crafted from a special bronze alloy, this gong produces a powerful, roaring tone reminiscent of a tiger’s growl. Its unique bent-out shape with a large center dot creates a distinctive splashy sound full of energy and character. Similar to the Opera Gong, the Tiger Gong offers strong attack and shimmer but with less of a descending bend, making it ideal for dramatic accents in sound healing, meditation, and performance settings. Each gong includes a specially matched beater.
