Stories from the Road with Luke Combs
A rare look
behind the scenes
of stadium country music.
For more than a decade, Mat Maxwell and Jake Sommers have powered the rhythm section for Luke Combs, performing everywhere from arenas and stadiums to Saturday Night Live, and sharing stages with Vince Gill, Ed Sheeran, and Keith Urban.
What you see is what you get, they’re bringing that experience to Heid Music Green Bay. Sure, they will discuss technique, but this is more than a masterclass. It’s a real conversation about what it takes to build a career, stay on the road, and thrive.
Heid Music is proud to partner with D’Addario, Ernie Ball, and Sabian to host this event. So, ya Doin’ This? Seating is limited, and access like this doesn’t happen often.
Real talk from two musicians who've spent years living out of a tour bus — the highs, the grind, and everything in between.
How do you get hired for a gig like this? How do you keep it? Mat literally wrote the book — and both will share what separates working pros from the rest.
This clinic is designed specifically for the rhythm section. Whether you're a student or a seasoned player, come ready to listen, ask questions, and go deeper.
