Chloe Grunewald attended UW Oshkosh and Martin Luther College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education and a music minor. Alongside two years of piano and five years of marimba, she had studied instrumental music and played woodwind and brass instruments for various classes. She performed in multiple recitals and concerts. These performances led up to a senior recital in which she played seven memorized pieces on marimba. After graduation she was asked to play marimba for a bridal recession.

Since 2024, Chloe has been employed by the Winnebago Lutheran Academy grade school band program, and she has taught instrumental lessons grades 5-8 in various schools: St. Luke’s in Oakfield, Grace in Oshkosh, St. Paul’s in Town of Forest, St. John’s in Fox Lake, Peace in Green Lake, and St. Matthew’s in Iron Ridge. She works as an assistant director at the academy and has conducted for the grade school band.
