Join us for a fun uke jam!
Have you wanted to try something new, but just didn’t know where to start? Do you want to meet people with a fervor for musical expression and community? Are you sick of buying more project supplies, watching them gather dust and just want to participate in something that is free that you can visit once per month? Then this Uke Jam is for you!
Every second Thursday, join Heid Music teacher Debbie Wagner in a fun, interactive ukulele jam at New Moon Cafe!
First thing to note, this event is 100% FREE! We even have a small selection of Ukuleles to lend to you for the event if you’d like to see if it is the right instrument for you. (These ukuleles move fast so you’ll need to get there early!)
So, let’s get down to the nitty gritty. What is this Uke Jam all about?
Who: Beginner uke players (with or without experience) or uke players of any level who want to enjoy playing with a group!
What: First half will be learning 6-8 new tunes with 2-3 chords, followed by an Open Mic to share what you have learned! Could either be a cover song or a song you wrote to share with the world. The choice is up to you!
When: Every second Thursday from 6:00pm-8:00pm
