The Alvarez Masterworks MD60 Herringbone combines traditional dreadnought design with advanced modern craftsmanship to deliver a powerful, expressive acoustic guitar. Built from all-solid AAA Sitka spruce and African mahogany, this instrument provides clear articulation, responsive dynamics, and a rich, balanced voice that excels for both flatpicking and strumming. Its classic Bluegrass-inspired aesthetic is complemented by premium details, making it a visually striking and tonally versatile instrument.

The MD60’s FS6 scalloped bracing enhances vibration and projection, producing a full-bodied sound with sparkling trebles and deep, resonant lows. Each component of the guitar is carefully selected and treated using Alvarez’s Advanced Tonal Response process, improving stability, resonance, and tonal clarity from the first day of use.

Premium appointments include an East Indian rosewood fingerboard, bi-level bridge, bone nut and saddle, and open gear nickel tuners. The guitar ships with an AFC30 Flexicase, providing protection and ease of transport for the player on the move.
