The LTD Snakebyte James Hetfield Signature is a bold, purpose-built instrument designed around Hetfield’s own original guitar shape and performance demands. Built with a mahogany body, set-neck construction, and 24.75" scale length, the Snakebyte delivers powerful sustain, tight low-end response, and authoritative rhythm tone ideal for heavy styles.

This guitar is equipped with the EMG JH “Het Set” active pickups, offering aggressive punch, clarity, and articulation while maintaining excellent note definition under high gain. A 3-piece mahogany neck, Macassar ebony fingerboard, and 22 extra-jumbo frets provide a fast, comfortable feel, with the signature snake inlay marking the 12th fret. Hardware includes a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece and LTD locking tuners for solid tuning stability.

This example is in great overall condition with minor play wear. There is some tarnishing on the blacked chrome hardware, consistent with normal aging. A small finish crack is present on the bass side of the neck joint; this is cosmetic only and does not affect structural integrity or playability. An LTD hard case is included.
