Yamaha TransAcoustic U1 Hybrid Upright Piano – Polished Ebony

The Yamaha TransAcoustic U1 Hybrid Upright Piano combines the best of acoustic craftsmanship and cutting-edge digital technology, offering musicians an unmatched playing experience. With precise, ultra-responsive touch, a clear and full-bodied tone, and legendary reliability, U Series pianos have been the first choice of professional musicians, conservatories, teachers, students, and music lovers worldwide for over half a century. Every detail of the U1 has been meticulously crafted, from the hand-selected solid spruce soundboards to the advanced V-Pro frame, ensuring exceptional tonal consistency and durability.

The TransAcoustic system allows players to enjoy the rich, immersive sound of a grand piano in any setting—either projecting acoustic sound into the room or practicing silently with headphones. Yamaha artisans in Kakegawa, Japan, carefully wind each pure copper bass string and adjust their tension to exacting specifications, producing a beautifully balanced, resonant sound. U Series hammers are designed and crafted from the finest materials, providing optimal tone, response, and a lifetime of musical enjoyment. The patented Yamaha aluminum action rail further enhances stability, resisting fluctuations in humidity and temperature for long-term reliability. With this combination of tradition, innovation, and meticulous craftsmanship, the U1 delivers an extraordinary musical experience for every player.
