Yamaha Revstar Standard P90 Electric Guitar - Sonic Blue

The Yamaha Revstar Standard in Sonic Blue combines cafe racer-inspired aesthetics with thoughtful tone-sculpting design. Dual P90-style single-coil pickups deliver the thick midrange punch and clarity that made P90s legendary, while 5-way switching (including phase-shifted positions 2 and 4) expands beyond traditional two-pickup configurations. The passive Focus Switch—activated via push/pull tone control—provides an overwound pickup effect with darker highs, increased mids/lows, and aggressive character. Chambered maple/mahogany body reduces weight while shaping acoustic resonance, and carbon-reinforced three-piece mahogany neck improves vibration transfer. Whether you're a Wisconsin blues player seeking vintage P90 snarl, a worship guitarist needing versatile tones, or a roots rocker chasing classic rock voice with modern reliability, the Revstar Standard delivers. Deluxe gig bag included.

Chambered maple top over mahogany back reduces weight for all-night comfort while strategically sculpting tone through internal acoustic design. Carbon reinforcement in the neck enhances vibration transfer from strings through body for improved sustain and resonance. Set-neck construction with 24.75" scale length provides classic Gibson-style feel and warmth.

VP5 P90-type single-coils with AlNiCo V magnets deliver authentic thick, punchy tone with clarity that cuts through mixes. Five-way switching provides traditional neck/bridge/both selections plus phase-shifted positions 2 and 4 for fresh takes on classic "in-between" sounds. Focus Switch (push/pull tone control) activates passive boost mimicking overwound pickups—instant attitude without pedals.
