Description
Description
This used Alejian 10" cymbal is a lightweight vintage piece with classic tonal character, weighing 252 grams. Alejian cymbals were manufactured by the Avedis Zildjian Company and distributed by the Slingerland Drum Company from the mid‑1940s through the mid‑1970s. Marketed as a budget‑friendly yet professional‑quality alternative to the main Zildjian line, Alejian cymbals are often noted for sharing sonic traits with 1950s–1960s A Zildjians.
At this weight, the cymbal offers quick response, bright attack, and fast decay, making it well suited for use as a splash or auxiliary effects cymbal. Its lighter mass contributes to an expressive, lively feel that blends naturally in jazz, acoustic, and studio‑oriented settings.
