Martin DE Retro Plus Acoustic Guitar - Mahogany

The Martin DE Retro Plus Mahogany blends vintage soul with modern performance, offering players the timeless tone of a well-aged instrument with all the features needed for the stage. Built on the legacy of Martin’s revered 18-style guitars, this dreadnought delivers power, clarity, and comfort in a strikingly resonant package.

Vintage-Inspired Tone, Modern Craftsmanship
At the heart of this guitar is a torrefied solid spruce top — thermally aged to replicate the warmth and response of a well-played vintage Martin. Paired with solid mahogany back and sides, the result is a rich, seasoned voice with impressive dynamic range and clarity. Scalloped X bracing ensures a responsive top that moves with your playing.

Designed for the Performing Artist
With a Performing Artist neck profile and high-performance taper, this guitar offers smooth playability up and down the ebony fingerboard. The Mortise & Tenon neck joint provides long-term stability while enhancing resonance across the body. It's a comfortable fit for any player, whether fingerpicking or strumming full chords.

Stage-Ready and Road-Tested
Equipped with Martin E1 electronics, the DE Retro Plus is built for the spotlight. Onboard tone controls and a built-in tuner make dialing in your sound easy, no matter the venue. With its classic aesthetic, premium materials, and unbeatable playability, this is a guitar built to inspire — and endure.
