JHS Double Dragon Octave Pedal

The JHS Double Dragon is an all-analog, monophonic octave pedal built around vintage analog octave-divider technology. Designed for players who want character rather than digital precision, it delivers a thick octave-down effect along with a gritty octave-up distortion that can move from riff-heavy tones to glitchy, lo-fi textures.

Vintage-Inspired Octave Effects

The OCT− control blends a thick analog sub-octave beneath your guitar or bass signal, while the OCT+ circuit adds an octave-up distortion with a gritty character reminiscent of classic Octavia and Superfuzz-style sounds. Single notes produce focused, riff-ready tones, while chords can create unpredictable stuttering and glitch effects.

Flexible Signal Control

VOLUME provides the master output level with additional boost, while DRY blends the clean signal with the octave effects. With the dry signal fully reduced, the pedal can produce fully wet, vintage-synth-inspired textures. The OCT+ circuit is activated with the right footswitch and requires the main effect to be engaged.

Built for Creative Players

The Double Dragon is designed for guitarists and bassists looking for vintage octave character, unusual tracking behavior, and sounds that go beyond conventional octave effects. It pairs well with mid-heavy overdrive, fuzz, and pitch vibrato for expanded synth-like and experimental textures.
