Jeffrey has been with Heid Music since 1978. Musicians from all over the globe send their instruments to him for repair. He is a published author in several repair publications. He received his training at Allied Music in Elkhorn WI. At one time, Jeffery owned 8 tubas, though has since retired from playing professionally.
Jeffery is a certified Straubinger Pad Technician and is proud to offer Sales and Authorized Service for a number of fine flute manufacturers, including Miyzazawa, Straubinger, Resona, Trevor James, Avanti, Altus, Muramatsu

Ken has done repairs for many artists over the years, including Clark Terry, Bill Watrous, Roger Rosenberg of Steely Dan amd many more. Ken is also proud to have created many custom fixtures for young musicians with disabilities to help them to continue to enjoy playing music. He earned a B.Mus in Composition and trombone performance from Queens University in Kingston, Ont. Canada, along with receiving a Repair Certificate from Allied Music, Elkhorn. His professional accomplishments, including serving as regional president of an industry association, also include a national performance and composition career.
Tim Arendt, Repair Technician

Tim is a 1986 graduate of Minnesota State Southeast Technical College in Red Wing. After graduating from college, Tim went to Tucson, Arizona, to work for Muller Music Center. While there, he ran a repair shop. In 1990, he brought his experience to Heid Music where he specializes in woodwind repair and serves as the company safety director. Tim enjoys grilling food, biking, and anything outdoors.
Robert Asman, Senior Repair Technician/Luthier

Robert has been a luthier for more than 35 years. In 1975, he started his training at Gilmour Brothers Music in Saginaw, Michigan. When Gilmour Brothers moved to Appleton, he joined them.Robert started renting a portion of the store and began his own string shop, specializing in string repair and selling vintage instruments in the violin family. In 1994, Gilmour Brothers Music was acquired by Heid Music Company. With decades of experience selling and repairing thousands of instruments, Robert has the skill and knowledge to professionally perform any of your repair needs.
Chris Felts, Repair Technician

Chris is proud to repair and perform maintenance on instruments used by professional musicians, music professors, college music students, and youngsters learning to play "Hot Cross Buns.” Chris is a graduate of Minnesota State College Southeast Technical in Red Wing, Minnesota for Band Instrument Repair, as well as University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for Music. Chris is a member of four industry associations. In his spare time, he collects, restores, and performs on vintage saxophones and researches the history of the people that made them.
Ron Lehr, Repair Technician
Years of Experience: 19+
Ron holds a Bachelor’s degree in instrumental music from UW-Whitewater and a degree for band instrument repair from Minnesota State Southeast Technical College in Red Wing. He was the band director for grades 5 through 12 for Weyauwega-Fremont Schools (1979-1983) and Almond-Bancroft Schools (1983-1988).Ron started repairing instruments in 1990 and joined the Heid Music team in 2001.
Jim Ninnemann, Repair Technician
Years of Experience: 21+
James is another of our dedicated professional repair technicians. From Shebogyan, James received his education and certification in instrument repair from Red Wing Technical College, now Minnesota State College Southeast, Red Wing Campus. James plays in DORF KAPELLE, a regional German Blaskapelle, founded in 1988. Jim has been providing repair services throughout the Green Bay and the Fox Valley area since 1993.
Daniel Ozsvath, Repair Technician
Years of experience: 5+
Danny graduated from Southeast Technical College in Red Wing, Minnesota, and received his diploma in band instrument repair. After completing his education, he got a job at Heid Music. His skill set includes repairing brass and woodwind instruments, with an emphasis on flutes. He is a certified Straubinger Pad Technician, and studied at Flute Authority and has attended multiple NAPBIRT Conferences. Daniel continues to advance his repair knowledge through conferences and on-the-job training.
Carl Rasmussen, Repair Technician
Years of Experience: 17+
Carl has a long career as a music professional and contributes his valuable experience to the repair team. Carl tunes pianos and works on family cars in his spare time. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, and received his Master of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from Baylor University.
Bob Rewalt, Repair Technician

Marty Vajgrt, Repair Technician
Marty enjoys working with large brass - restoration and custom work on tubas, euphoniums, sousaphones and trombones. He is trained in engraving restoration as well as recutting. He got his degree in instrumental performance from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. He oversees repair parts for the Band department. His experience is vital to the instrument repair team.
Brian Wojtowicz, Repair Technician
Along with career as a repair technician Brian played trumpet in Army bands for over 20 years. After that, he attended Minnesota State College Southeast - Red Wing for instrument repair. Today, Brian plays in the Neenah community band along with his dedicated work at Heid Music.
Adrian Zemor, Repair Technician
Adrian is a repair technician, composer and music educator. He studied Violin Repair at Minnesota State Southeast, and also has a Bachelor’s of Cello performance from Berklee College of Music. He taught and performed Cello in NYC--his hometown. Today, Adrian repairs instruments and teaches students the cello. He is currently working on releasing an EP of original music.
