Rebecca P., Voice - (not currently accepting new students)
Rebecca spent much of her life in the metro Detroit area, obtaining a B.A. in Music from the University of Michigan, playing viola with the Grosse Pointe Symphony, and singing with the Detroit Symphony Chorale & Chorus and other professional choirs. She is a member of the American String Teacher’s Association, and plays with the Weidner Philharmonic, the Sheboygan Symphony, the Waupaca Area Orchestra, the Green Bay Civic Symphony – and the KlezKats klezmer band.
Rebecca tries to help her students see the patterns in and naturalness of music. To that end, she draws from her expertise in voice, strings, and piano, in combination with traditions and pedagogical methods, to create a unique, customized experience for each student. This blend is always driven by the student's individual goals and interests.
When not making music, she is working with animals, creating something new and orange (always orange), or shopping for new fun footwear.
