Steve has taught professionally since 2002, taking on students of all ages at different skill levels, as young as six years old to people in their fifties. Musical genres he teaches include pop, country pop, rock blues and some jazz. Steve really enjoys working with young students who may not have had the chance to define what their musical tastes and influences are yet. Steve has lots of patience with his students and loves developing young talent who are motivated and want to learn. His lessons emphasize developing good technique and being dedicated to their instruments to achieve their musical goals, which could include playing in a band. Steve has experience playing in bands over the years and is currently pursuing his passion for music as a solo artist. Steve gives credit to his musical mentor, Todd Buffa, professional jazz vocalist, one time Grammy nominee, and Green Bay native.
