Katie DeNure is a classically trained vocalist that teaches guitar and voice in a wide range of styles. She is also a singer/songwriter. Since 2002, Katie has had the privilege to lead music for hundreds of Youth Conferences, Women's Retreats, Young Adult Gatherings, Special Events, and Church Services. Katie has been teaching private music lessons for since 2008, and has also worked with the Renaissance School for the Arts and other area schools in the Fox Valley. Katie’s unique use of technology in her studio provides her students more ways to advance and retain their skills with her wide variety of professionally filmed online lessons. Other instruments Katie plays include the flute, Irish Penny Whistles and piano. Katie teaches acoustic, as well as electric styles, and accepts students 8 years old and up. Katie also specializes in group guitar and voice lessons. In addition to her musical abilities, Katie is also a fluent Spanish speaker and is a certified teacher in Bilingual/ELL and Regular Education.

Chris Felts has played the saxophone since 1995, and has privately taught saxophone since 2003. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where he received several awards in music and music performance. An avid musician, he performs on soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones in a wide range of musical styles such as classical, concert, jazz, pop, Latin, and funk. He performs with a variety of different bands and ensembles including Men In Suits, Fat Brass Inc, and the Big Band Reunion. Chris’s lessons cover the full range of saxophone, from the fundamentals (proper embouchure, tone, hand position, dynamics, counting rhythms) to more advanced techniques (vibrato, altissimo, improvisation, growling, false/alternate fingerings, etc) and saxophone history. Chris teaches students of all skill levels from beginner to advanced, and enjoys tailoring his teaching to fit each student’s educational and performing goals.
Theresa Martin has been offering private instruction in piano, clarinet, and composition since 2009. She is also an internationally recognized, award-winning composer and appears as guest lecturer at universities around the country. She received her DMA in composition at the University of Michigan, Masters’ degrees in composition and clarinet performance at Arizona State University, and has also studied piano for 17 years. She performs frequently on both clarinet and piano in her church, local ensembles, and at international music conferences. Some of her students have gone on to win music competitions, scholarships and Fulbright fellowships. She teaches beginning to advanced levels, and offers both in-person and online lessons. Heidi McFall is a classically trained flutist and pianist who loves sharing the joy of music with others! She has been teaching flute and piano for about 10 years, and is accepting beginning-advanced flute students, and beginning-intermediate piano students. Heidi loves the challenge of teaching students of all ages, backgrounds, and interests! She is passionate about teaching both the joy of music, and the discipline of regular practicing. Although primarily a classical flutist, Heidi has experience performing and teaching a range of styles. From classical music to contemporary chord charts and lead sheets, she is happy to help you learn to play the music you love! Heidi holds a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, a Master of Arts in Performance Studies from New York University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Maryland.
