The Mission of the New Horizons Band Fox Valley (NHBFV) is to provide affordable music education, training and performance opportunities for adults with any level of musical experience who desire to play again or learn to play for the first time. Beginners and experienced players alike are welcome. Auditions are never required.

The mission of New Horizons Orchestra Fox Valley is to provide music education, training, and performance opportunities for adults of any age and at any stage of musical experience without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or socio-economic status. The orchestra aspires to create music to the best of its ability, to encourage individual achievement playing a stringed instrument, to foster social interaction within the group and the community, and to provide community musical performances.

Since our beginning in 1987, there have been no fees or auditions to join and membership is open to any interested post high school adult. As stated in our by-laws, our objectives have always been: to provide Oshkosh area musicians a venue with which to perform, to provide Oshkosh area residents an opportunity to hear good band literature as performed by the OACB, and to develop a regular and supportive following..
