Mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard is straight and true. Frets play wear in first 8 frets. Fingerboard has minor line indentations from possible fret replacement in the past. This plays effortlessly.
Carved spruce top has excellent resonance and birch back and sides shows light buckling, but some moderate wear up the center towards the neck. This mandolin is feather light. Binding shows no cracks or shrinkage.
All nickel plated hardware is original and in fine working condition. Tuners work with ease and pick guard has a slight sag.
