The Gibraltar SC-DC is a simple to use hi hat clutch that releases from the top portion with slap of the hand or stick. The top portion stays affixed to the height set on the rod by a standard wing bolt. When normal foot use is resumed, stepping down re-engages the clutch by grabbing the bottom portion.
Works with most 7mm hi hat rods.
