This tenor-sized ukulele will be the envy of the entire galaxy! It combines a solid cedar top, laminate acacia back and sides, and a smooth satin finish. The result is a thin line ukulele with volume, punch and awesome tone. Every Flight Leia ukulele comes with a bone nut and saddle, Worth Brown fluorocarbon strings, and the Flight Deluxe Gig Bag. The Flight Leia sports the new Flight redesigned headstock, and includes a state-of-the-art Double B1U pickup.
Zero Gravity.
Thinline instruments do not equate to a thin sound. Much like a violin, the reduced space offers more control over the sustain and tone of the ukulele. Leia is an excellent travel-friendly ukulele with a sound comparable to the rest of the Princess series. This is a space-saving ukulele that is comfortable to hold, producing sound that could bring any Empire to its knees.
Cedar and Acacia
Cedar is a ukulele tone wood well-known for bright clarity and volume. For the Flight Leia, Flight matched an all-solid cedar top with stunning laminate acacia for the back and sides. Acacia is in the same family of Hawaiian koa. The pairing of the cedar and acacia woods creates a beautiful sound – the Flight Leia is full and rich sounding with clear projection. Joining the two woods together is a delicious maple wood binding. This thinline ukulele features a satin finish for a lasting smooth touch.

This model comes with Double brand B1U pickup installed. These pickups are highly regarded for their ease of use, simple tone and volume control. Designed for ukuleles, the controls are mounted inside the lip of the sound-hole for quick and easy changes with quality precision. Battery changes are quick, with no need for unsightly battery blocks that add unnecessary weight and bulk to the ukulele. The Double B1U will ensure an active dynamic control of your ukulele and a peace of mind when you’re performing on stage.
A total makeover.
One aspect of this is demonstrated in the evolution of Flight's headstocks. For the Princess series, Flight has an updated headstock shape, as well as the Flight logo, to give it a “classier” look.

The Princess series needed a little pampering. The royal purple infused burgundy case is lined with a plush 15mm thick padding that will keep your ukulele comfortably protected. When people see your case they’ll be lining up to see the Royalty inside.
