Excellent conditioned with fine patina in all the right places. This 1965 Fender Jaguar is close to original with exception to the newer nut.
Solid maple neck with rosewood fingerboard shows considerable play wear, but has excellent playability all the while being very comfortable to the hand. Fingerboard shows more play wear with string bend divots in the first 4 frets than any of the frets. Backside of neck has fine finish checking throughout. Newer nut has replaced the original nut.
Offset ash body has various nicks and dings throughout and some of those blemishes are going through the finish to the wood. Most nicks and dings are on the cutaways and lower bouts with exception to the hole that is in the middle of the backside. Considering all the play wear this guitar really flows of good vibes.
All electronics are 100% original dating back to 1965 and both pickups have been tested and are fully functional. All solder points look original as well.
All original hardware is included in sale; bridge cover and trem bar. Various control plates do show tarnishing and corrosion while the bridge and trem assembly look great. Tuning machines work with ease. Strings to vibrate the "Fender Mute" when played.
Original Fender black hard case is included in sale. The interior is mainly orange, but there is an area that has a black stain. The black stain does not seem to be mold as it does not smell like mold. The storage pocket inside the case is missing nails to stay in place.
