Make Music Day

All Day Event

Make Music Day 2019

Please join us for the second annual Make Music Day

in Appleton, to be held on Friday, June 21.

A collaboration between Heid Music and Mile of Music,

this one-day music appreciation event will help elevate

Appleton as a destination for music lovers and musicians alike.

Make Music Day Appleton is part of the international Fête de la Musique,

taking place in 800 cities across 120 countries every year on June 21.

It is designed to celebrate music in all its forms

and encourages people to band together to play free public concerts.

In the U.S., Make Music Day is presented by The NAMM Foundation,

and coordinated by the Make Music Alliance.

This year, more than 65 U.S. cities are organizing Make Music Day celebrations,

encompassing thousands of concerts nationwide.

On behalf of Heid Music and Mile of Music, thank you for considering participating in Make Music Day 2019.  Our gratitude to Appleton Downtown, Inc. (ADI) for its support in celebrating music in downtown Appleton and helping to make this initiative possible.  We are excited that Make Music Day falls on Appleton Downtown’s Art on the Town night which will bring even more people downtown.  By joining in this new annual initiative we can all create a greater awareness of the value of music and to showcase the thriving music organizations in our community.
