Alfred Music expert clinicians Andy Beck and Anna Wentlent will showcase the best new materials from Alfred Music! Designed for classroom music teachers and choir directors of elementary through high school, this interactive summer reading session is not only an educational experience, but a great networking opportunity!

About Alfred Music's Expert Clinicians:

Andy Beck received a bachelor's degree in music education from Ithaca College and a master’s degree in music education from Northwest Missouri State University. Andy currently is the Director of Choral Publications at Alfred Music. A prolific composer and arranger, he has over 450 popular choral works, vocal resources, and children’s musicals currently in print, including the highly regarded method books "Sing at First Sight", "Foundations in Choral Sight-Singing" and "Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique". Andy is in demand as a guest conductor, choreographer, adjudicator, and clinician for educators and students throughout the United States and beyond. 

Anna Wentlent is an educator, music editor, author, and piano accompanist. She attended the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam (music education), York St. John College (community music), and Boston University (educational leadership and policy studies). Over the course of her career, Ms. Wentlent has worked as a choral and classroom music editor for Alfred Music and taught choral and general music in both New York and Massachusetts. Ms. Wentlent is the author or co-author of several music-education resources, including Ready, Set, Rhythm!, Sound Stories Round the Year, Color Me Mozart!, Alfred’s IPA Made Easy, and The Women of Western Music. She is also an accomplished pianist, with considerable experience as a freelance accompanist, church musician, and musical theater director. Ms. Wentlent currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts, where she is the Choral Director/General Music Teacher at Coolidge Middle School in the Reading Public Schools.
