Metallica's Kirk Hammett is enamored with the strange and macabre, famously seen in his spooky-themed custom guitar collection. The LTD KH Demonology features a gloss black finish covered with ancient sigils and Kirk's classic skull-and-crossbones fret markers. This sinister guitar has a neck-thru-body design and 25.5" scale, with a comfortably contoured alder body, an extra-thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck, and a macassar ebony fingerboard equipped with 24 extra-jumbo frets. A set of EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker Signature pickups provide a range of tones that go from deep and rich to super aggressive with the flick of a toggle switch, and each pickup has its own volume control. The KH Demonology includes a Floyd Rose tremolo for expressive performance styles, and includes a special Tombstone case, appropriate for this unearthly tool of musical mayhem.
