Danelectro broke barriers when they started working with Vinnie Bell, session guitarist playing most notably on many of Frank Sinatra's records, to make the first electric 12-string; creating the Danelectro Bellzouki.
Featuring silky smooth playability, the neck with a rosewood fingerboard is straight and true with the perfect amount of relief. Backside of the neck has some mishandling dings and dents. Three piece headstock shows finish cracks between each piece from age.
Acorn style body is surprisingly heavier than you would think weighing in at 6lbs-2.9oz. General play and handling wear is throughout. Most notable wear are on both rear top and bottom seams.
All electronics and pickup are all original, tested, and fully functional. The 3-position phase switch offers three different tonal colors.
All original and 100% functional. Both tuners and bridge are working well, but the tuners show some corrosion. Pick guards exhibit light shrinkage. Top guard that surround the pick up is non original, but from the same era.
Gig bag is included in sale.
