Showing off a dreamy light thin hollow body, luscious curves, and a sharpe Florentine cutaway this is the obvious choice for R&B guitarist.
Overall in superb condition considering it has been a player for a majority of its life.
Showing minor play wear and light horizontal finish checking throughout the neck providing a perfectly played in feel. Both the rosewood fingerboard and frets show little to no wear. The frets have been professionally dressed for superior playability. The neck shows signs of being reset at some point. There is no movement within the neck/body joint. The headstock has unfortunately been mishandled with two minor burn marks underneath the Gibson header.
Aesthetically the combination of the double bound archtop and the cherry burst finish really turn heads. Fine weather checking patterns move vertically from bottom strap pin to neck joint. There is a short finish crack that has de-colored between treble side f hole and pickup. Binding is excellent condition. Horizontal buckle rash scuff (hard to see) pattern on back.
All pickups (2 P-90's) and electronics (2 volume, 2 tone, one 3-way switch) are fully tested and 100% functional.
Gibson hardware is all original showing corrosion and play wear on the trapezoid tailpiece and Gibson deluxe machine heads.
Walker Music chipboard case w/ orange interior is included in sale.
