The Gibson L-50 archtop is an iconic instrument in the history of archtop acoustic guitars with an unmistakable feel and sound. This guitar will need some minor structural attention due to a seam separating on the lower back of the body (see photos). Despite this small issue, the instrument plays well and has a comfortable neck with well-maintained fretwork. The Grover tuning machines are after-market but work smoothly and hold tune. The original trapeze tailpiece is in the case, but was damaged and has been swapped with a Gibson-correct replacement. The bridge is original and the top arch is stable.
