Making Japanese Gibson copies, Electra did a stand up job picking out woods and giving their guitars distinct premium features at a value.

Solid, straight and true three piece mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard is a delight to play on. Both frets and fingerboard show light play wear. Block inlays are colorful and contrast well against the darker rosewood. Very playable throughout the entire neck.

Overall this guitar is in excellent shape considering this was a guitar that was usually rocked hard and beaten on. Most notable blemishes are on the bass side lower bout where there are a few dents to the finish. There is very light buckle rash on the back. All binding shows no cracking or shrinkage.

Both pickups and all electronics (2 volume, 2 tone, one 3-way switch) have been tested and are 100% functional.

Gold plated hardware shows tarnishing, while chrome plated hardware is in fine condition. Machine heads tune up with ease and keep tune. Clear pick guard shows pick scratches, but no shrinkage.

Electra hard case is included in sale. Yellow/orange interior is pretty neat.
