The Heid Music Family Foundation Piano Bank is new a program designed to give economically challenged children in Northeast and Central Wisconsin the opportunity to develop their musical talent by providing a piano and/or tuition for lessons. The goal of the Piano Bank is to reach children who otherwise might not get a chance to study piano. |

Here's How It Works
- Guidelines are available at any of our Heid locations in the piano department. Stop by one of our locations, or give us a call for more information. Printable PDF Application.
- Applicants must submit an application along with a letter to the Heid Music Family Foundation for review and consideration.
- Upon acceptance, the Heid Music Family Foundation Piano Bank may provide funding for lessons and/or a piano for the student.
- Practice/report cards from the teacher must be provided to the Heid Music Family Foundation to ensure continuing eligibility. If your student would like to remain in lessons when the donation ends, they can resubmit an application to the Piano Bank for further consideration.

- If you know of a piano that is in good playing condition or have funds available to donate to the Piano Bank, contact Heid Music piano department.

Heid Family Foundation
In 1948, Peter Heid founded Heid Music with the goal of enriching lives through music and music education. The foundation has continued his goal and has touched the lives of children, schools and churches in need for over 20 years. His legacy continues today with three generations of our Heid family in ownership.
