Ryan K., ARyan_Knepelcoustic & Electric Guitar  Click for video introduction
Ryan was first introduced to music at the age of five when he began taking piano lessons. A couple of years later he began learning the guitar, and a new passion was born. Throughout high school he took lessons, played in a couple of garage bands, and was constantly told by his father to turn his guitar down. He went to school in Ohio, where, in addition to playing guitar, he took drum lessons and studied the history of pop music. Ryan believes that creativity is major part of playing, and his students learn not only to play the guitar, but explore their own creativity with the instrument. For Ryan, guitars are an obsession, and he inspires his students to share his excitement for music in fun and laid-back environment.

Logan_LangLogan L., Banjo
Logan knew from a young age that he was very interested in playing music, but he was not particularly interested in his guitar lessons. When he stumbled upon the banjo several years later, he knew it was the instrument for him. He enjoys playing in both the three finger and clawhammer style. He has also studied with professional players such as Alan Munde, Tom Adams, and Gary Davis. He loves playing all sorts of musical genres, from traditional to progressive. A few of the concepts he teaches are chord construction, scales, creating solos, and how to read sheet music. Logan is currently a student at Lawrence University in Appleton, where he’s learning from the hundreds of talented musicians around him. Logan is excited to share his knowledge and love for the banjo with all of his students, and he knows they’ll enjoy learning this incredible instrument as much as he has!
