ESP (Electric Sound Parts) started out making custom replacement parts for electric guitars in 1973. In 1984, the company started crafting custom guitars for local New York guitarists like Page Hamilton of Helmet, Vernon Reid of Living Color, Vinnie Vincent, Bruce Kulick of KISS and Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones. At that time ESP also introduced the 400 Series as the first product line distributed in the United States.
In 1986 George Lynch walked into a ESP shop in Tokyo, looking for a replacement part for his guitar. He learned that ESP could custom build guitars and his famous ESP Kamikaze was made.
ESP has continued to add to their line of guitars. The list of heavy metal and rock musicians who use ESP continues to get longer. Add your name to the list, come into Heid Music and try one out today. |
