OUR REPAIR PHILOSOPHY
At Heid Music we believe that every student has the best opportunity to succeed with a properly functioning musical instrument. In the early stages of their musical career a beginning musician has to rely on the instrument to function well in order to develop their skills to perform. From the first lesson, where they attempt to make their very first sound, through the development of their technique, it is important that their equipment be kept in proper adjustment to avoid frustration and possibly dropping out of music. We strive to do quality repairs, as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Maintenance Contracts
Heid Music has long been known for its outstanding repair service included with every rental instrument. Several years ago, after many requests from our customers, we began to offer the same great service package to customers after they completed the purchase of their instrument. Both programs have met with tremendous success.
Heid Music Shop also has a maintenance contract for school band programs. With a minimum enrollment of just 15 instruments you can sign up for coverage for an entire year. This means no more worrying about how much is left in your budget for the year and no more delays for standard maintenance and repairs. New instruments purchased from Heid Music will also be enrolled free of charge for the remainder of any one-year contract. |

School Assessment Program
Heid Music repair offers an onsite assessment service to evaluate your band instrument inventory. A representative can come to your school and evaluate the condition of your inventory, catalogue each item, supply estimates for all necessary repairs as well as give advice on replacing failing instruments. Our in depth reports can assist you in planning an inventory replacement timetable as well as show ways of spending your repair budget in an efficient way. This service is offered on during the months of November thru May. |

Repair Pick-up and Delivery Service
Heid Music maintains a regular repair service for schools. Our friendly road representatives will pick-up all our rental instruments for service as, well as private customer repairs, and all your other school needs. |

For private customer repairs we send out a written estimate to the parents along with a payment form to return to us. This way the parent is always made aware of the repair needs for their child's instrument as well as the costs. We do repairs at the lowest possible price. In order to keep repair cost low for everyone we cannot do repairs on a credit basis. You can mail your request back along with a check for the repair amount, or call us with a credit card number. As always your instrument will be repaired in a prompt, professional manner. |
