Jesse C.
Acoustic & Electric Guitar

I have a bachelors of music recording technology degree from UW-Oshkosh. In addition to the guitar, I have years of experience playing and recording bass, drums, piano and trumpet. I give beginner to intermediate-level lessons and have taught students of all ages and backgrounds (ages 7-77 so far). Here is what makes me different from other guitar teachers: I enjoy working with young students (ages 10 and under; I teach the parent AND the student together), teach music theory (involves homework!), ear training, and reading music. I consider my niche to be a music instructor rather than a guitar instructor. My lessons are supplemented by Hal Leonard method books.

I have been playing guitar for 14 years, and am currently in the band Mollies Way, which just finished its first west coast tour in September. I like to teach beginners the basics of playing guitar, such as reading sheet music and tabs, as well as making guitar a fun instrument to play for anyone of any age.
